I'm new to the game but is great. My pal got me started and now I can't seem to quit playin the game...

Dawn of War is a badass PC game.. one of the best Real Time Strategy games out there, and probably one of the most overlooked. However, if you like it, you absolutely HAVE TO TRY Company of Heroes.

It's made from the same company and is set in World War II but uses the same gameplay concepts, only in an improved manner.

You can download the demo from many sites.

There isn't a Demo for the latest game Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

Not only is the Company of Heroes demo nearly 1 1/2 gigabytes to download, but it also requires a hell of a PC to run, so unless you've got plenty of RAM, a fast processor, and a badass video card, just play Dawn of War instead.

There are demos for all of the Dawn of War games.

I wouldn't recommend checking the official websites for games in order to find demos. Most of the time, the developers get really lazy and refuse to update the sites.. I'm not sure why, but very rarely will you find any PC game sites that are actually 100% updated with the latest content.

The game download sites (Gamershell, Filefront, 3dGamers, Fileshack, etc.) are the best places to check for any files or demos.

I'm not too familiar with that one, but judging from that website though it does look pretty sweet. Reminds me alot of World of Warcraft, only it looks more unique, and the characters look a whole lot cooler. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

One game that I was looking forward to was Warhammer: Mark of Chaos (INFO) because it was set in the Warhammer universe like Dawn of War and was also a strategy game and you could paint your army and customize each unit, but it ended up being pretty crappy and I never even bothered trying it.

Yeah I heard mark of Chaos sucked, so I never bothered either.

Warhammer online is supposed to compete with warcraft, and I agree that it looks much better, and as far as I know it is set to be on PS3 as the largest multiplayer game ever on a console.
